I’m Emilia: computer programmer, Scranton native, and hobbyist photographer.
Hello, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is Emilia and I am a hobbyist photographer from Scranton, Pennsylvania, a small city tucked away in Northern Appalachia. I am currently living in San Jose, California, but I am a coal country girl at heart.
I am a recent graduate of the University of Southern California where I majored in physics and computer science, but don't let that fool you. When I am not solving equations, I am probably taking photos or doing some sort of art—I am a self-taught artist with 10 years of experience in Adobe Photoshop and digital design. I branched off into the realm of photography and quickly fell in love with taking photos and photo retouching. For me, taking photos allows me to appreciate the details of life that often go unnoticed—whether it be capturing the details of a flower or photographing someone's personal milestone, I find it exciting knowing I am contributing beauty through a medium I love.
Aside from my freelance work, I have also worked with USC Viterbi and various USC student organizations and clubs for event photography, headshots, and other various photos for media publications. I am always open to any inquiries you may have regarding my work, camera, tools, etc.

My late grandfather was a Canon enthusiast and poet—I never had the opportunity to meet him, but my family says that I get my artistic side from him.
I built this website from scratch using technologies I taught myself. 👩💻
I am a birder and a amateur botanist, and I am an unabashed member of iNaturalist. 🌱
I am autistic (Asperger's syndrome) and my favorite food is macaroni and cheese. Not that those things are related.
I am an INTP (if you're into that MBTI stuff).
